Steps to Minimise the Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

woman wearing maskAt Wellness Dental Bronte your health and wellbeing is always our first and utmost priority and it’s why we pride ourselves on providing a sterile environment every day of the year. We know it’s especially important now as we all take steps to minimise the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Here’s why your oral health is safe with us:

As a dental health surgery we are taking precautionary steps to ensure that we are well placed to minimise the impact of Coronavirus.

Our Staff and Patient’s health and wellbeing is our priority

  • None of our staff have been overseas in the last 6 weeks, and have no plans to travel overseas in the next few months
  • We have provided extra hand sanitiser packs in the clinic but ask you to use them on arrival into the clinic
  • As much as we love to greet our patients with a handshake, high five or hug, understandably this contact can’t be possible right now, so our usual big friendly smiles is with what we’ll be greeting you!
  • Bookings will be taken with larger spaces between patients to minimise contact

To help us keep the clinic safe for all, can we please ask that you:

  • Notify reception if you have been in contact with the Coronavirus.
  • Reschedule your appointment if you feel even slightly unwell.
  • Do not attend the clinic if you have travelled overseas within the last 14 days.
  • Sanitise your hands upon entry and exit to the clinic.
  • Adhere to any other hygiene protocols within the clinic.

We provide a clean and sterile Environment

  • All of our staff undergo strict infection control training, including hand hygiene
  • All of our tools and instruments are cleaned and sterilised after each use
  • We use a top of the range autoclave and ultrasonic. We record and track this process using a sterilisation log
  • All consumables used during your treatment are strictly single use
  • All contact surfaces are wiped down after each patient
  • Our floors are swept, vacuumed and mopped at least once daily

We will continue to monitor and follow the advice of the Australian Government Department of Health and the Australian Dental Association and keep you all informed if anything changes.
